The Colts squad is made up from players in the U17 & U18 age groups and is a pivotal link to our Senior set up. This season, our Colts will be participating in the U18 Sussex League. There will also be specific age related games towards the end of the season culminating with the U17s playing in qualification rounds which, if successful, will lead to inclusion within the National Cup.

Many of the current Colts squad have played right through the Mini and Junior ranks and we continue to be joined by new players keen to become part of HHRFC. Everyone of them benefit from the quality coaching that is available under the guidance of Head Coach Andy Connors, and assisted by Richard Green. The players can experience a wide range of fitness, strategy and handling skills all designed to improve their performance and enjoyment of rugby. Andy also coaches the clubs 2^nd XV as well as being a County coach for the U17’s. His involvement with the Senior club provides an excellent route into the clubs 2^nd and 3^rd teams and is an ideal way to integrate players into the Senior Club. During the course of the season players will be invited to join with and experience the Senior Squads which will support the next phase of their playing careers and development.

At the end of this season many players will no doubt be looking to move onto University yet by laying down foundations now should see many of them return to the club in later years. There is already a great team spirit that exists amongst our Colts and this is something that extends beyond the rugby pitch.

New players are always welcome, Training takes place on Sundays at HHRFC at 12 noon with matches scheduled to Kick Off at 2pm.
