HHRFC Minis Chairman Introduction

Minis "Open Days" - Sunday 14th, 21st & 28th September @ HHRFC 10.00

Welcome to the Haywards Heath Minis Section.

The Minis consists of seven age groups from Under 6 to Under 12 and from 1973, when we first started Minis rugby at the club, we now have over 225 players that train and play every Sunday morning.

First and foremost the Minis section is family orientated and our prime objective is to ensure that the kids have fun. However, we also take our rugby seriously, and have had repeated success in all the major Sussex festivals and tournaments across all the age groups.

In addition, we have had a number of players go on to be selected to play for Sussex and, as they become old enough, the Haywards Heath 1^st XV, National League Clubs and England.

The Minis rugby season starts on the first weekend in September through to the end of April and training is on a Sunday morning from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. Fixtures and Festivals also take place on a Sunday morning, although the start and finish times can vary depending upon the number of clubs and teams taking part.

All our coaches and managers are RFU qualified and CRB checked and their contact details are available on this website. In addition, we also encourage parents to become Parent Volunteers, so if you would like to get involved and help out, please let the coach or manager know.

If your child is interested in joining us, please bring them along to one of our Open Days, details of which will be posted on this website, or alternatively simply come along on a Sunday morning when your age group is training at home. However, to avoid any disappointment, I would suggest that you contact the coach or manager first, as sometimes the dates for training can change.
