Training at home this Sunday 19th for everyone - No training this evening Thursday - Killer B's away to Crawley next week and a real test for Red's!

Dear Hussars,

For some of you it may feel like the battle is won, the end of a very short season already? Having had two weeks break, the league title won, the tour bags packed… but we’ve still got the cup final on the 11th March and it’s at Heath – a rare home advantage!

Today - James has already sent out an email regarding no training this evening Thursday – we’re trying to preserve the playing surface.

This Sunday 19th - The away fixture at Sutton & Epsom due this weekend has been put on hold until the end of the season – crossed wires on the original date. Despite my best efforts to arrange an alternative fixture it’s the end of ½ term and everyone has gone skiing it would appear?

Last week’s A team league fixture against Eastbourne has been conceded as a walkover and we’re trying to arrange a friendly fixture with them for the B’s at some point in future, the rearranged league game away against Crawley has been shifted to next Sunday 26th details to follow.

Next Sunday 26th - we have managed to secure a fixture against the current top U13 team in Surrey 1,Old Reigatian, an early start with a 10:30 KO this will be an ideal opportunity to test ourselves against some very tough competition. A squad of 25 will be selected from those available – please let me know if you’re not available or need transport. (William does if selected please?)

The future 2012-13 Looking forward to the 2012-13 season I have been busy trying to secure more top level games for both squads with the top Surrey, Kent and Sussex teams and have already booked dates with likes Rosslyn Park, Chobham, Sutton, Warlingham plus the league fixtures. These are wholly dependent on us have two complete teams (50 – 60 boys) Could I please ask that you consider your likely position next season as many of the boys will be moving school (which term do they play rugby, will they be expected to play on Saturday?) Other sporting or family commitments on Sunday? The coaches and managers will be meeting early next week to start planning for the future and an early indication on you’re likely plans would greatly assist the process please.

We also need you RFU raffle tickets / stubs / cash this Sunday at the latest please.
