HHRFC benefits from support for Club mini bus

Dinnages, the Ford main dealer in Haywards Heath, has kindly agreed to help keep youth and senior sport mobile by maintaining and undertaking the annual service of the Heath "Funbus".

Following the end of lockdown restrictions the minibus has been used by various age groups to take them to tournaments and festivals and the recently formed girls squad drove to The Stoop to watch England's Red Roses in international action.

With club stalwart, coach and ground maintenance expert Emmett Edwards providing year round secure parking for the bus in compound, the next 12 months should see all age groups making full use of the club's asset and save considerable money third-party hire costs.

With the new Clubhouse and Community Sport Facility moving ever closer, the Club has now applied to WSDC for a Section 19 permit which will allow other not-for-profit organisations make use of the minibus with a notional charge to cover running costs - this will provide valuable help to the local community children's groups and other sport's clubs to transport their members in the bright red bus.

We are grateful to Daniel Broyd of Dinnages Haywards Heath and D Edward & Son of Cuckfield to allow us to continue providing this valuable facility to our members.

Any HHRFC age group wanting to use the Club mini bus should email Dave Grimley.
