Looking slightly further ahead, early in the season there will be plenty of exciting rugby for everyone to look forward to.

The 1st XV will play their opening home league fixture on Saturday 17th September and as with every home game this season, one of the minis squads (U8s – U11s) will be invited to act as ball girls/boys for their senior team. The U8s will be the first to be given this opportunity.

On Sunday 25th September, we will see a return for the HHRFC Minis Festival. The U7s through to the U12s will all be involved in what promises to be a fantastic opening to the festival season and a great opportunity for all teams to showcase their skills. This occasion is a not to be missed and all available players will be involved on the day.

We will need volunteers to help throughout the festival: from parking, to setting up pitches, to running the BBQ and acting as time keepers for each round of matches. Please do let your age group coaches know if you are able to help out on the day.

On Saturday 1st October, the HHRFC 1st XV will play their second game of the season and this will coincide with a special day for the new U12s. Their Tie Ceremony Lunch will take place at the club before the U13s play a curtain raiser for the 1st XV where both games will be against local rivals Burgess Hill. The ball girls/boys will come from the U9s for this fixture.

In the afternoon and evening there will be a beer festival at the club and all are welcome.

Please put these dates in your diary and look out for further updates at the end of September.
