Health Colts fought back to win the Sussex Colts Cup in an attritional game against a strong and motivated Jersey side who were high on confidence and rich in talent.
Despite Heath being probably the stronger and more cohesive side during the first half, the boys left themselves with a hill, if not a mountain, to climb in the second half by reaching half time trailing 10-0.
But Heath were perhaps the better side throughout that first half, and were sucker-punched by a coupe of line breaks which resulted in Jersey tries against the run of play.
Moving into the second half, composure, patience and game management were the route to success - and the boys (eventually) delivered all three to get back into the game, take the lead and go 19-17 up, and hold on for a thoroughly deserved win.
