Heath 1st XV took on Cobham at Whitemans Green last weekend, wanting to put on a stronger performance than the last time the two sides met. As the current league leaders, Cobham was a big challenge for a young Heath squad who nonetheless put on a fantastic display for the big crowd of supporters and competed strongly scoring four tries – two from Ollie Simpson, one from Toby Vander plus a penalty try with conversions from Ollie Goswamy. Heath secured two bonus points despite losing the fiercely contested game in the final quarter 28-34.
Heath RAMS also played the league leaders of Counties 3 Sussex away at Burgess Hill and lost 30-24 in an equally closely fought encounter.
This coming weekend the Heath 1st XV are away at Weybridge Vandals KO 2pm.
Heath RAMS are playing Hove II on the artificial pitch at the ARC in Burgess Hill RH15 8RA - The Arc KO 2pm
