Following on from the great results secured by Heath U15s and Heath U12s in recent weeks, the Heath U13 squad was determined to continue the trend as they took their league campaign to Bognor on Sunday.
The Heath U13s Blackhawks didn’t disappoint and continued their storming start to the league season with a superb win against Bognor by 30-5.
Despite despicable weather conditions, some slick handling and a 'one-for-all, all-for-one' attitude in the tackle stunned a much more physical opponent, who were continuously pinned back in their own half for most of the match.
Ollie Bennett at outside centre continued his remarkable try-scoring spree and there was a tremendous performance from the whole forwards pack. HHRFC U13s (Year 8) this Season is fielding an unprecedented three different competitive league squads (Apaches; Comanches & Blackhawks) made up of players from more than 15 different schools across Sussex, meaning there are many opportunities for everyone to gain match experience.
