ENGLAND Students Head Coach James Farndon has named his team to take on Wales Students at Clifton RFC today, kick off 2.30pm, with a number of familiar names back in the England Students starting line-up for the final game of the season.
Farndon makes seven changes to the starting XV which lost against France Universities, 22-18, last time out, with six players on the bench involved for the first time this year.
In the back division, Sam Katz (Loughborough) moves into the centres, with Luke Cozens (Hartpury) making his first start at fly-half. The only other change sees Michael Pope (Exeter) come in on the wing.
There are five changes to the pack, but Josh Beaumont (Durham) is once again named in the second-row, and will captain the team. He is joined by one of the fresh faces as James Gray (Exeter) makes his first start, having made appearances as a replacement in the previous two ties.
Tom Dunn (Bath) and Josh Bayford (Durham) come into the front-row as Callum O’Connell (Hartpury) is named on the bench, with the two changes in the back-row seeing George Messum (Loughborough) and Matt Chambers (City University, London) both named, alongside Harrison Collins (Durham).
Aside from O’Connell and Chris Lewis (Bath), five of the remaining six replacements will be looking to make their debuts but Jack Pattinson (Durham) already holds two caps, having played against Italy and France last year.
