Pulborough U14s 0 Haywards Heath U14 86
13 unanswered tries and a try awarded as a penalty were complimented by eight conversions from the combined boots of Ed Hartley and James Davies who had opened the scoring with a burst down the left flank moments into the game.
Continued recycling by the forwards in open play and winning scrums against the head provided the Heath back division with quick ball from the hands of Alfie Slatter, which they took full advantage of with Pulborough conceding seven tries in each half.
Despite their best efforts, the Pulborough re starts quickly found their way to the hands of the Heath wings, Samuel Pearson and Jack Johnson who ran in five of the tries between them.
Strong runs from Dylan Hammocks, Archie Kane, Sam Coyne and Ollie Streeter were a regular feature of attacks against which the Pulborough squad, to their credit, gave every effort to quell but were unable on this occasion to stop.
A snaking 20m run from Sam Griggs having collected a loose ball and planting it under the posts left Davies to finish the match with a drop goal conversion and claim the last points of the day as he had the first.
